Verdict
Different products, aimed at slightly different people.
Njalla and NordBastion both refuse to collect identity, both bill in cryptocurrency, and both will host workloads other providers will not. Where they part company is on what they optimise for. Njalla optimises for the very highest ceiling of operational anonymity — OTR signup, Tor onion, the explicit promise that even the operator does not know who you are. NordBastion optimises for a different combination: lower prices at equivalent specs, choice between four Nordic legal regimes, a wider crypto basket, a published warrant canary and transparency report, and a path to dedicated bare-metal as you grow.
Pick Njalla if your single highest priority is OTR-only operation and you have no need for dedicated servers or jurisdiction choice. Pick NordBastion if you want better pricing, more compute per dollar, a constitutional choice of jurisdiction and the option to outgrow VPS into bare-metal without changing host.
Either way: you are buying privacy infrastructure operated by people who refuse to ask for your name. That is the floor. The differences above sit on top of it.
