Balance is credited as soon as the network confirms your top-up — seconds for Lightning, XRP, Solana or Toncoin; a few minutes for most chains; up to about twenty minutes for an on-chain Bitcoin or Monero confirmation. Prices are quoted in USD and your balance is held in USD value. When you top up, the coin amount is calculated at the moment of payment, so volatility between top-ups never changes what a server costs. If you want to avoid price movement entirely, top up with a stablecoin such as USDT or USDC.
